CID Educational Materials Designed for Use with Deaf Children

CID educational materials are designed specifically for teachers and clinicians to assess and intervene to improve deaf children's development of speech, language, listening and developmental skills. Some of our educational materials are criterion-referenced and are particularly helpful to teachers of the deaf in establishing instructional objectives. Others have been designed for testing in a clinical setting and are norm-referenced so that a child's performance can be compared to that of other children of similar age and hearing loss. Most of these instruments are suitable for all deaf and hard of hearing children regardless of the educational approach used.

NEW! CID Speech Skills Worksheets  CID teachers finally share their secret for tracking speech skills progress in children who are deaf and hard of hearing. This long-awaited instrument uses a similar process and is a natural companion to the TAGS system for tracking language.
